Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of numerical and auxiliary relays (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE, etc.)
  • Execute relay coordination and protection schemes for substations and industrial panels
  • Conduct site visits for relay testing, fault analysis, and retrofitting assignments
  • Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for client submission
  • Collaborate with design and service teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and calibration records as per industry standards

Requirements

Requirements – Relay Testing Engineer
  • Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: 2–3 years in relay testing and protection systems
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with numerical and auxiliary relays (ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE, etc.)
    • Proficiency in using relay testing kits (e.g., Omicron, Megger)
    • Knowledge of protection schemes: Overcurrent, Earth Fault, Differential, etc.
    • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and protection logic
  • Documentation: Ability to prepare detailed test reports and client submissions
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and client-handling abilities
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel for site assignments across regions
